Day 3: Count It All Joy – Worship in the Midst of Pain
Scripture:
"The Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord."
– Job 1:21b (NKJV)
Reflection:
Job’s ability to worship in the midst of his pain was rooted in his deep trust in God’s character and sovereignty. Worshiping during hard times is not about denying our struggles but declaring our faith. James 1:2 calls us to “count it all joy” in trials, because our trials refine our faith. Joy comes not from the absence of pain, but from the presence of God.
Prayer:
Lord, I choose to worship You today, even in my pain. I trust Your plans, even when I don’t understand them. Thank You for being my foundation and my hope. Amen.

Spend a few moments in worship today. Play a favorite worship song or read a psalm, focusing on God’s goodness and faithfulness.
