"Made New: Created and Called" 4 Day Devotional
Day 3: Challenged to Live Anew
Scripture: Jeremiah 18:4
"But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him."
Reflection:
Being a new creation in Christ means more than superficial change—it’s a transformation of
your very essence. Like clay in the potter’s hands, Jesus takes the broken pieces of your life and molds them into something beautiful. He doesn’t just fix you; He makes you brand new. This new life calls you to live differently—to live anew!
To live anew means letting go of old hurts, habits, and patterns that keep you stuck in the past. It’s choosing to forgive, trust, and surrender every part of your life to God. This transformation isn’t automatic; it requires daily commitment and intentionality.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for making me new. Help me to leave behind the old and fully embrace the life You’ve called me to live. Transform me into a vessel for Your glory and guide me as I step into this new season with boldness and faith. Amen.
Challenge:
Identify one “old thing” (a habit, fear, or hurt) you need to let go of and one “new thing” God is calling you to embrace. Write them down as a declaration of your commitment to live anew.
