Made New: Called to Creativity 3 Day Devotional

Day 1: Reflect God's Image

Scripture:
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.’” — Genesis 1:27-28 (NKJV)

Reflection:
You are made in the image of a creative God. Look around at the world—mountains, oceans, stars, and even your own being are testaments to God’s creative nature. As His image-bearer, creativity isn’t optional; it’s essential. Creativity doesn’t just belong to artists or musicians. It belongs to every person finding new ways to solve problems, care for others, and build something meaningful.

Think about how God commanded Adam and Eve to "be fruitful and multiply." This wasn’t just about having children—it was about producing, innovating, and stewarding creation. That same call is on your life today. How can you reflect God’s image by being creative in your work, family, or ministry?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for creating me in Your image. Stir up the creativity within me to reflect Your
glory. Help me see opportunities to create, build, and innovate in ways that bless others and honor You. Amen.

Action Step:
Identify one area in your life where you can be more creative. Whether it’s solving a problem at work, starting a project, or improving a relationship, take one small step today.

Thank you, I needed to be reminded about reconciliation and led to a church with the same God given spirit He has given to myself.
