"Made New: Created and Called" 4 Day Devotional-Created to Live Anew

Scripture: Genesis 1:26-27 NIV
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over
the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over
all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Reflection:
God created you with intentionality and care, crafting you in His image. This means you carry
His fingerprints—His creativity, love, and purpose. Even when sin entered the picture and
distorted the original design, God’s image in you remained. Reflecting on your creation story
reminds us that God sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply, even in brokenness. He did not create you to hide in shame or fear but to live in abundance and purpose.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for creating me in Your image. Help me to see myself through Your eyes and
to live boldly in the identity You have given me. Restore what has been broken by sin and guide me to reflect Your glory. Amen.

Challenge:
Spend time in prayer today, asking God to reveal areas where you’ve been “hiding.” Write down one way you can step out of hiding and into His purpose for you.
