"Made New: Created and Called" 4 Day Devotional
Day 2: Claimed by Christ
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:15 NKJV
And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
Reflection:
When sin separated us from God, Jesus stepped in as our Savior to reclaim us. Through His death and resurrection, He didn’t just forgive our sins—He called us to live for Him. This life isn’t about pursuing your desires or following your truth; it’s about surrendering to Christ. True freedom and fulfillment come when Christ is at the center of your life, not on the sidelines. What would your life look like if Jesus truly became your foundation?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for claiming me as Your own. Teach me to live for You, letting go of selfish desires and embracing Your plans for my life. Help me to surrender fully and trust in Your purpose. Amen.
Challenge:
Examine one area of your life where you’re still living for yourself. What practical step can you take today to put Jesus at the center of that area?
