Day 4: Joy is Secured by God’s Righteous Reign
Scripture: Psalm 98:9
"For He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, and the
peoples with equity."
Hymn Stanza:
"He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love."
Reflection:
The reign of Christ is the foundation of our joy. Unlike fleeting happiness tied to circumstances, the joy found in God’s rule is eternal and unshakable. His truth and grace secure our hearts, allowing us to live with confidence no matter what life brings.
Question: How does the knowledge of God’s righteous reign bring you peace and joy? Are there areas in your life where you need to trust Him more fully?
Prayer: Sovereign Lord, thank You for reigning with truth and grace. Help me to rest in the
security of Your love and find my joy in You alone.
Amen.
