The Song of Love 3-Day Devotional (The Little Drummer Boy) Day 3
Day 3: Respond with Worship
Scripture: Luke 21:1-4 (NKJV)
"And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also
a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, 'Truly I say to you that this poor
widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings
for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.'"
Reflection:
True worship is not about the size of the gift but the sincerity of the heart behind it. The
Little Drummer Boy didn’t have riches or extravagant offerings; he gave what he
could—his talent and his love. Likewise, God desires our authentic worship, not based
on perfection but on a heart fully devoted to Him. When we give Him our best—our
praise, our time, our love—it pleases Him.
Like the Little Drummer Boy’s “Pa rum pum pum pum,” let your worship today be an
offering of love and devotion. Give your best to the One who gave His all for you.
Prayer:
Lord, I offer You my worship today. Help me to give You my best—not out of obligation,
but out of love and devotion. Amen.
Challenge:
Find a quiet space and worship God. Whether through singing, praying, or reflecting,
give Him your sincere praise.
