3 Day Devotional: Better Together-Day 3

5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven.’

Devotional
Jesus saw their faith.

Not just the man on the mat. The faith of the people carrying him mattered. They had no healing power. They could not forgive sin. But they were part of how God chose to move.

God still works like that.

Sometimes God answers prayer through a conversation. Through encouragement. Through someone refusing to give up on you. You don’t always know what role you are playing in someone’s story, but God often works through people who are willing to show up in faith.

Fasting Practice
Ask, “Lord, who do You want to bless through me today?” Then act — encourage, serve, give, pray, or speak life into someone. Offer your gifts to God and be available for Him to use you.

Prayer
God, use me in the lives of others. Help me recognize when You are working through people around me, and help me stay humble enough to receive help too. Amen.
