God’s Redemption At Christ’s Expense - 4 Day Devotional

Day 2: Admitting Our Guilt and Our Need for Grace

Scripture: “And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” – Luke 23:41 NKJV

Reflection: The second criminal understood his guilt and confessed it openly. He acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and turned to Him for mercy. Grace begins where pride ends. None of us is without sin, and admitting our need for God’s grace is the first step to receiving it. Have you confessed your need for Jesus lately? Take time today to humble yourself and call on Him.

Prayer: Jesus, I admit my sins and confess my need for Your grace. Thank You for bearing the punishment I deserved and for offering me salvation. Amen.

Challenge: Spend time in prayer today, confessing your sins to God and thanking Him for His grace. If needed, seek reconciliation with someone you’ve wronged.
