4 Day Devotional: Jesus is Savior - Day 3

Day 3 – Cleared: The Release from Condemnation

Scripture:
John 8:10–11 (NIV)
Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Romans 8:1 (NIV)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Reflection:
The courtyard grew quiet. The accusers walked away. And for the first time, this woman stood before someone who didn’t want to use her story — He wanted to redeem it. “Neither do I condemn you.”
Those words are freedom. They remind me that Jesus doesn’t just forgive — He restores. The same Savior who exposes sin is the one who erases shame. He silences every voice that says you’re too far gone or not enough. If you’re in Christ, you’re cleared. You don’t have to live under the weight of guilt anymore.

Questions:
  • What voices of accusation — past or present — do you need to let Jesus silence?
  • How can you live today as someone who’s truly been cleared by grace?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that there is no condemnation in You. When shame tries to speak louder than grace, help me remember that You’ve already cleared my name. Amen.
