4 Day Devotional: Jesus is Savior - Day 4

Scripture:
John 8:11b (NIV)
“Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Titus 2:11–12 (NIV)
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

Reflection:
Jesus didn’t just release her — He redirected her. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” Grace doesn’t only free us from what was; it calls us toward what can be. Salvation isn’t just a rescue — it’s an invitation to live new.

The same grace that rescued her in that courtyard now reshapes us in our everyday choices. Grace gives us power to walk away from old habits, to forgive others, to love deeply, and to trust boldly. We’re not just forgiven people — we’re transformed people.

• How can you depend on His grace, not your willpower, to walk in that change?

Prayer:
Savior, thank You that grace not only lifts me but leads me. Help me live differently because I’ve been forgiven. Redirect my heart toward You. Amen.
