3 Day Devotional: What You're Carrying is Helping Somebody - Day 2

DAY 2 — Carrying What God Is Growing in
You

Scripture: Luke 1:24–25 (NKJV)
24 Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five
months, saying,
25 “Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take
away my reproach among people.”

Devotional Reflection
There are seasons when God is doing something inside you that is real but not yet visible — a miracle in progress. Elizabeth stepped into seclusion not out of fear but out of wisdom,
protecting what God was forming in her. Some of God’s greatest works begin quietly, slowly, and internally. The dream, healing, growth, or calling He plants often requires protection, patience, and intentional space. Don’t rush what God is developing; don’t expose prematurely what God is still strengthening. What you are carrying has purpose, and God is shaping it in His perfect timing.

Reflection Questions
1. What is God forming in you right now that is still fragile or unseen?
2. How is God calling you to protect, nurture, or prioritize what He’s growing?
3. Where might God be inviting you into quietness so something sacred can mature?

Prayer
Father, give me the wisdom to protect what You are forming in me. Help me honor the slow
work of Your Spirit and trust Your timing. Strengthen my faith so I can carry this miracle —
even while it is still in progress. Amen.
